Abstract

The article by the Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V. Egorov et al. is reviewed. The paper provides the results of the study of the role Cystoseira species play as a biological barrier for the flow of pollutants, heavy metals and organochlorine compounds, in waters of the specially protected natural area “Cape Martyan.”
