Abstract

The symposium took place in Moscow State University, in October 25–28, 2016. The main ecological issues in the evaluation of the environmental quality were discussed. Biological methods of analysis in the assessment of natural and impacted ecosystems were shown in 170 presentations delivered by researchers from 10 countries and 5 scientific societies, including SETAC, the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry. The main idea of the symposium was to join the efforts of the scientists, business and decision makers for the development of adequate methods and programs on the diagnosis of environmental health.
