Abstract

This year the outstanding systematist-zoobenthologist, D. Sc. (Biol.), Professor Galina-Vantsetti Murina celebrates the anniversary. During 50 years of her work in our Institute (1962–2011) she made an invaluable contribution to the development of the study of meroplankton, systematics, biogeography and ecology of sea worms of the World Ocean, that belong to groups Sipuncula and Echiura and to class Priapulida.
