Abstract
On 28 October, 2022, D. Sc., Prof. Ernest Samyshev celebrates his anniversary. He is the head of IBSS marine ecosystems functioning department, author of more than 270 scientific papers, and winner of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology (2007). His research interests cover hydrobiology, ecology, biocenology, anthropogenic transformation of marine ecosystems, and mariculture of fish and invertebrates.
