Abstract

In 2026, the Benthic Ecology Department of the A. O. Kovalevsky Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas of RAS celebrates its 70th anniversary. The data accumulated by the department’s staff over the years, along with the results of scientific research, have enriched Russian and global hydrobiology.
