Аннотация

Первые исследования структуры вириопланктона и вирус-индуцированной смертности бактерий в северо-восточной части Карского моря проводили в рейсе НИС «Профессор Молчанов» в рамках программы «Открытый океан: архипелаги Арктики — 2019». Материал получен 22–31 августа 2019 г. в районе архипелага Северная Земля, на участке среднего шельфа между островом Визе и островом Ушакова и на разрезе от внешнего шельфа до континентального склона. В исследованных водах численность бактерий (NB) варьировала от 0,24 · 105 до 5,15 · 105 кл.·мл−1, численность свободных вирусов (NVF) — от 15,41 · 105 до 64,72 · 105 вирусов·мл−1. Отношение NVF/NB изменялось от 6,9 до 89,7; в среднем значение составляло 14,6 ± 6,2 в прибрежных водах архипелага Северная Земля и 56,9 ± 23,3 в открытых водах шельфа и континентального склона. Между NVF и NB наблюдалась сильная корреляция (R = 0,72, n = 23, p < 0,05). Во всех акваториях в составе свободных вирусов преобладали вирусы без хвоста. В прилегающих к архипелагу Северная Земля водах средний диаметр капсидов вирусов [(42 ± 5) нм] меньше такового в открытых водах [(50 ± 5) нм]. В составе вириопланктона, кроме свободных вирусов, присутствовали вирусы, прикреплённые к бактериальным клеткам и к мельчайшим частицам взвеси. Во всех пробах преобладали свободные вирусы, но в прибрежных водах их доля в общей численности вириопланктона [(86,4 ± 9,3) %] была ниже, чем в открытых водах [(94,3 ± 5,0) %]. Частота видимых инфицированных вирусами клеток бактерий (FVIC), то есть доля в общей численности бактериальных клеток, содержащих внутри зрелые фаги, изменялась от 0,8 до 3,9 % NB, составляя в среднем для всех проб (1,6 ± 0,7) % NB. Сильная корреляция FVIC обнаружена с величиной бактериальной продукции (R = 0,69, n = 23, p < 0,05). Смертность бактерий в результате вирусного лизиса колебалась в пределах 6,1–39,2 % продукции бактерий, составляя в среднем для исследованного участка Карского моря (13,8 ± 7,9) %. Показано, что вирусы в прибрежных и открытых водах северо-восточной части Карского моря осенью являются важным компонентом планктонного микробного сообщества и вирусный лизис существенно влияет на смертность планктонных бактерий.
